Effective Wood/Log Burning Stove Tips

• Have The Flue Cleaned As And When Required
  
• Bring Wood Inside Before Winter (or store it in your log store to minimize getting wet in the rain)
  
• Leave A Layer Of Ash At The Base Of Your Stove - Dont fully clean out your stove!
  
• Check That The Wood Is Dry Enough - Kiln dried is best, seasoned is just as good if the moisture is below 20%
  
• Use Newspaper To Spread The Fire To The Wood More Quickly
  
• Use kindling, you dont need an almighty amount as its lights easily
  
• Fully Open The Air Vents Before Starting A Fire to get it going 
  
• Don’t Use Larger Logs Too Early Into A Fire
  
• Burn Hardwood Logs For Increased Heat Output And Longevity
• Dont leave air vents fully open when up to running temprature
